Especially with complex calculations, it is important to document the assumptions made and results achieved in a sustainable and easily understandable way. For years, we have successfully relied on Microsoft Excel for this purpose, instead of expensive additional programs which, for cost reasons, can only be installed on a few computers and are therefore not available to all employees.
